Shu Pu-erh "Banzhang Golden Bud" 2014 harvest is an aged dark (fermented) pu-erh from Yunnan province, China, made from large, plump leaves picked from the region's biggest and finest bushes.

The aroma is deep and mellow with a pleasant sweetish note that unfolds with every steep. The liquor is rich, clear burgundy, tasting of ripe cherry against a warm woody backdrop. The flavor is smooth and enveloping, lightly sweet with a pleasant woody undertone — no bitterness or excess astringency. The aftertaste is sweet and long, leaving a warm, calm feeling.
