This Shou Mei white tea was picked in 2012 in Fujian province and pressed into a cake shape in 2017. Over that time the leaf developed a deeper, richer flavor — aged white tea is always more expressive than fresh.
The cup shows notes of dry straw, bark, caramel and a light apple tartness. The aroma is delicate, with a soft, lingering aftertaste.
