Bai Hao Yin Zhen, or Silver Needle, is an imperial grade white tea with a gentle, delicate taste. The first thing you notice is the silvery, downy surface of the tea buds, covered in fine white fuzz.
The taste and aroma reveal a rich range of notes: geranium, wildflowers, cucumber, fresh hay, roasted nuts, cream, honey, zest, apple and banana. This loose-leaf tea comes from Fujian province, China.
