Imperial Bai Mudan — White Peony Tea, Fujian

Imperial Bai Mudan is an imperial-grade white tea from Fujian Province, China. Loose leaf, picked and processed by the classic Bai Mu Dan (White Peony) method.

The liquor is clear, with a barely-there aroma. The taste suggests caramel sweetness, spring thaw and birch sap, followed by linden, meadow flowers, fresh hay, cut grass, dry wood, vanilla, basil, dried apricot, fresh lemon, apple and banana.
