Da Hong Pao Matcha — Powdered Oolong

This is a unique rethinking of the "Big Red Robe". We took select leaves of the legendary Da Hong Pao rock oolong from the Wuyi cliffs and ground them into a fine powder. That keeps the tea's full potential and its famous "rock taste" intact, while making the drink as concentrated as possible.

Taste and aroma

In this matcha the classic fiery notes of charcoal roasting blend with a deep caramel and chocolate profile.

Unlike traditional green matcha, this drink has a warm, brown-olive shade and an entirely different character — the dense yet smooth "tea state" typical of fine oolongs.

Format and packaging

Fine powder in a kraft paper doypack with a clear window and zip-lock. Available in 7 g, 25 g, 50 g, 100 g + 5 g and 200 g + 10 g packs.
