Da Hong Pao Lux is a dark rock oolong from Fujian province, one of the most famous and expensive varieties of Chinese tea. In China this tea doesn't come from the same legendary four original bushes, but is said to grow closer to the sacred peak than its cheaper counterparts.
The flavor and aroma carry notes of fruit chips, toasted bread, bread, caramel, biscuit, jam, anise, grapefruit, plum and pear. A recognizable, vivid flavor with a long finish.
Brew with water at 95–100°C using short infusions to reveal its many-layered flavor.
