Rou Gui from Hu Xiao Yan cliff (Tiger's Roar Cliff) is a dark oolong grown on one of the 99 Wuyi peaks, at an elevation of 424 m above sea level. The cliff lies between the Nine Bends Stream and the Cave of a Single Strip of Sky, and its name comes from a legend of an immortal riding a tiger and a gorge through which the wind roars like a tiger.
The leaves of this oolong reveal a rich range of tasting notes: rose, linden, peony, bread, cream, honey, chocolate, biscuit, pepper, cinnamon, date, fresh orange, cherry and apple.
