Ying Hong No.9 Red Stripes Chinese Black Tea

Ying Hong No.9 Red Stripes is a legendary Chinese black tea from Guangdong province, also known as Ying De Hong and Ying Hong Dew Hao.

The cultivar appeared in the late 1950s: Chinese breeders brought the Yunnan Da Ye bush from Yunnan and crossed it with Shui Xian. Only the ninth attempt worked out, which is why the full name of this tea is Ying Hong Cultivar No.9.
