Autumn Tie Guan Yin Oolong, Superlux

Autumn Tie Guan Yin is a light oolong of the top "superlux" grade from Fujian province. It is made so that the taste grows richer and more refined over time: every year of ageing shows in the cup.

Taste and aroma

It opens on flowers — lilac and geranium — followed by a green line of cut grass and celery. Then the sweet core unfolds: almond, vanilla ice cream, honey and sponge cake. The finish is melon and peach.
