Keemun Minzhou Baohetang Superlux Black Tea

Keemun Minzhou Baohetang Superlux is a top-grade Chinese black tea from Anhui province. It is one of the most fragrant black teas in the world: in 1982, when Margaret Thatcher visited China, Keemun was the tea presented to her as a gift.

Taste and aroma

The bouquet opens with linden, chrysanthemum, celery and cut grass, followed by fruit wood, peanut, jam, plum, apple and pear. The liquor is full-bodied and smooth, with a long sweetish finish.

How to brew

• Water at 90–95 °C, in a teapot or gaiwan.
• Keep the first infusion short, then extend the steeping time.
• Stands up to several infusions — the flavour unfolds gradually.

Loose leaf tea in a kraft paper stand-up pouch with a clear window and a zip-lock seal. Available in 7 g, 25 g, 50 g, 100 g + 5 g and 200 g + 10 g — from a taster pack to a large pouch for everyday drinking.
