T8663 is a recognizable "numbered" recipe of a 357 g pressed shu puerh cake from the Xiaguan factory. Unlike other cakes with their own names such as "Old Tea Guest" or "Dragon Spirit", T8663 has no special name — only a recipe number.
T8663 is made by machine pressing, which gives a denser cake compared to hand pressing, and it suits long-term aging well.
The flavor has a fruity tang, almond, biscuit and wine-like notes.
