Da Yi «Dragon Pillar» shu puerh from 2018 is a dark pressed puerh cake from Yunnan province, China.
In the early 2000s, the TaeTea (Da Yi) factory began releasing special batches of puerh under their own names, rather than the usual numbered recipes like 7572 or 8592. «Dragon Pillar», «Phoenix Pillar», «Pu Zhi Wei», and «Golden Lotus» are examples of such named releases, which later became collector's items.
«Dragon Pillar» is one of the most popular puerhs in this line.
The tea reveals notes of chestnut, hazelnut, prune, and date.
