Menghai Bulangshan Treasure Shu Puer from the 2019 harvest is made from leaves picked on Bulangshan mountain — a region bordering Myanmar known for its tea trees. The cake is pressed at the Menghai factory from raw material sourced in this border region.
The first infusion reveals a light bitterness that quickly gives way to a sweet aftertaste. The aroma lingers pleasantly. It's not top-tier like Lao Banzhang, but it's a solidly worthy representative of Bulangshan tea.
