Shu puer Menghai Da Yi is a legendary recipe from the Menghai factory (Dayi brand). This tea suits those who value refined confectionery sweetness and a velvety texture in puer rather than earthy notes. Thanks to a blend dominated by fine leaf and a large share of golden buds, the liquor comes out soft yet full-bodied.
Warm and cozy, with notes of roasted nuts and dry oak bark, complemented by hints of dark chocolate and dried apricot.
A rich liquor the color of dark amber or dark chocolate with a bright glossy shine. The taste is balanced, free of sharpness or bitterness — a soft oak-bark astringency flows into a sweet, creamy finish with fruity apricot nuances.
