'7592' is one of the most famous ripe puer recipes, created in 1975 by technologist Huang Anshun at the Menghai factory.
Joining the factory in 1957, the master took part in creating many of today's popular pressed tea recipes, and by 1964 rose to lead technologist overseeing fermentation of the raw material. Huang Anshun later founded his own tea company, Boyou, which still specializes in premium ripe puer.
Today in China two versions of '7592' exist: one from the Menghai Dayi factory, the other from the recipe's founder's own company.
This pressed ripe puer cake has a rich, mellow taste of aged leaf with notes of roasted nuts, honey, cinnamon and longan.
