Shu Pu-erh "Crab's Leg"

Shu Pu-erh "Crab's Leg" (2018) is a pressed dark pu-erh from Yunnan province, China, blended with the traditional addition Pan Se Qiao, known in China as "Crab's Leg" for the distinctive shape of the shoots of this epiphytic plant that grows on tea trees.

This addition has long accompanied pu-erh blends and gives the tea a distinctive, highly recognisable flavour. The cup carries notes of celery, fresh hay, wild grass, hazelnut, caramel, date and raisin.
