Pan Se Cha, or Crab's Feet, is a parasitic vine that grows exclusively on Puer tea trees.
It grows together with the puer leaf and is harvested alongside it, which is why it traditionally unfolds in the cup together with puer.
This vine can also be brewed on its own, but its main feature is its ability to enhance the flavor of other teas and dishes. In China it is even added to soup to give it more depth and richness.
