Sheng puerh «Three Sages Sanxing» from 2020 is a young pressed puerh cake from Yunnan province, China.
In Chinese mythology, Sanxing («Three Stars») are three sage-gods: Lu-xing (career and prosperity), Fu-xing (happiness), and Shou-xing (longevity). Their figurines are traditionally placed in a prominent spot at home as a symbol of good wishes for the family.
The tea reveals notes of spinach, sea grass, pine, dusty road, sea air, hazelnut, and dried apricot.
