Sheng Puerh "Confucius and Yan Hui" is a raw green puerh pressed into a cake, harvested in 2014 in Yunnan province (Lincang), China.
Confucius had a beloved student named Yan Hui. When Yan Hui died, the Teacher said: "How I grieve for him! I always thought he was moving forward and never thought he would stop." On the cake's wrapper it is jokingly written that Confucius and Yan Hui personally selected the leaves and drank this tea.
The taste carries caramel, dry wood, moss and a touch of basil, while the aroma offers wildflowers and fresh hay.
Store and brew it the traditional way used for pressed puerh cakes.
