Shen Puer "Tea of the Elders" is pressed into a cake from old tea trees of Yunnan province, China. The wrapper features a scene of three sages at a tea table, a classic motif of Chinese tea culture that inspired this tea's name.

The taste is smooth and unhurried, with a pleasant bitterness and warmth that unfolds gradually. The aroma carries spicy floral notes, celery, damp straw, green wood, pine needles, moss, tobacco, sesame, and basil.
