Thai premium-grade Shen Puer "Yuan Nian" is a rare tea from Hong Tai Chang. It is made only from raw material harvested from old tea trees (200 to 600 years old), giving the tea a deep, multifaceted flavor.
The large tea leaf is generously dotted with fluffy golden buds. During aging the tea has darkened, moving closer to a ripe (Shu) style, and developed an impressive mature taste.
The bouquet carries notes of green apple, dried-fruit compote, and dry spices.
