A real find for lovers of rare teas: selected leaf of the legendary southern Fujian oolong Tie Guan Yin stone-ground into the finest powder using matcha technique. This format lets you consume the whole leaf rather than only the infusion.
The taste is recognisable from the first sip: the floral lilac notes typical of Tie Guan Yin become fuller and more concentrated here. The powder is a pleasing olive green, and the prepared cup has a thick texture and a long sweet finish.
Whisk the powder in a bowl with hot water for a dense, floral cup. It works just as well with dairy or plant milk as a latte.
