Lao Shou Mei is an aged white tea that matured from 2012 to 2018. Over this time, the leaves gained a deeper, richer character typical of aged white teas.
The aroma carries notes of peony and cut grass, intertwined with warm shades of pine nuts, chocolate and ripe peach. The infusion is soft and velvety, with a pleasant depth of flavor.
This tea is valued for unfolding gradually — with each new steep the taste becomes denser and richer.
