Bai Mudan Nectar of White Peony Premium White Tea

Bai Mudan (White Peony) from Fuding county is an exquisite classic that turns into a true tea nectar with years of aging.

The material for this cake was picked in spring 2019 and processed following the traditional method from delicate buds and the first tender leaves. After several years of natural aging, the tea was pressed in November 2022 into a neat 300-gram cake.

Visually the cake shows a lively texture: among olive, khaki and golden-green leaves you can see many plump, silvery-white buds thickly covered in soft down.

Thanks to its considerable age, the tea has fully lost its original green tartness. The liquor's taste has become extremely smooth, silky and deep. The refined bouquet is dominated by notes of fresh floral honey, ripe white cherry, meadow herbs and sweetish dried apricot, with a long aftertaste.
