Dian Hong Black Tea "Traveller" 2021, Pressed Brick, 100 g

Dian Hong "Traveller" is an aged Chinese black tea from the 2021 harvest, pressed into a handy brick. In China this style is called cha zhuan; we call it "the chocolate bar": the liquor is deep red and strong, with an aroma of buckwheat honey and dried fruit.

How to brew

Break a piece off the brick — one piece yields at least 350 ml of tea when brewed the ordinary way rather than in short infusions. The leaf stands up to several steeps in a row.
