This Sheng Puer comes from Xigui village, near Daxueshan (the Great Snow Mountain) in Yunnan province.
Puers from this area are known for their distinctive sweetness. The liquor is light amber.
The aroma offers light fruity notes, fragrant honey with a light bitterness, hints of flowers (orchid, chrysanthemum) and a berry tartness.
The taste is silky and clean, with notes of dried fruit, meadow herbs, honey-floral and mint-citrus tones.
The aftertaste is long, with a barely perceptible minty note that smoothly turns into a honeyed sweetness.
