Sheng Puer '7548' is a legendary recipe born at the Haiwan factory in 1999. Its founder, Zou Bing Liang, had previously led production of the classic '7542' recipe at the Da Yi factory, founded back in 1975, but decided to start his own venture and could not part with his favorite tea recipe.
With the support of Ms. Lu Guo Lin, the recipe received a new name — '7548' — and continued its predecessor's tradition in a new place.
This compressed raw (sheng) puer suits long-term aging and reveals a deep, complex flavor that develops with years of storage.
