Dian Hong is a classic Chinese black tea from Yunnan province, pressed into a convenient mini tuocha shape. Each tuocha is a single serving: no need to weigh the leaf — just drop one into a teapot or gaiwan and pour hot water over it.
Although pressing came to black tea from the world of pu-erh, Dian Hong keeps its own distinctive character.
Place one tuocha in a teapot, pour hot water over it and let it steep — the pressed leaf opens gradually, so it holds up to several infusions.
