Dian Hong Da Jin Luo "Big Golden Snails" Black Tea from Fengqing

Dian Hong Da Jin Luo is a red (black) tea made to the highest standards. The name translates as "Yunnan red tea in the form of big golden spirals", but we call it "Big Golden Snails" — it sounds softer and more homely.

The leaf

Only bright golden buds picked in early spring go into the snails, and only from Fengqing — the home of the most famous Dian Hong.
