Dian Hong "Tang Dynasty Court Lady" is a pressed brick of black tea from Yunnan province, China. Through the pressing you can see large whole leaves densely covered with golden down — a sign of a high bud content that gives the brew its honey softness.

The dry tea smells of a summer meadow: flowers, honey and pollen. The liquor is bright, amber-orange and clear. The taste carries notes of linden, apple blossom, lotus and jasmine, rounded out by a silky tannic note of nuts and honey. The tea withstands up to 10-12 infusions, revealing a new facet each time.
