About this product

Aged pressed white tea Lao Bai Cha from Fuding, Fujian, 2016 harvest, pressed in 2024. Rich amber liquor with notes of dried apricot, pear, dates and linden honey.

Lao Bai Cha (老白茶, "Old White Tea") is a deep, noble tea from Fuding county, Fujian province, one of the centers of traditional white tea production in China. The leaves for this cake were picked in spring 2016.

Over the years the tea underwent natural fermentation, gradually revealing its potential, and was pressed into a classic large cake weighing 350 g in October 2024.

Visually the tea resembles an autumn mosaic: large pressed leaves in chestnut, nutty and brown tones interwoven with silvery-white downy buds. The liquor is a rich amber color, with a smooth, sweet taste.

The bouquet blends notes of sun-dried meadow herbs, ripe dried apricot, dried pear, dates and thick linden honey, leading into a long nectar-like aftertaste.
