Jasmine ripe puer "Lao Cha Tou" is made of dense tea nuggets (so-called "old tea heads") that naturally fused together during fermentation and are scented with jasmine flowers.
The brew is dark, rich and soft, with the taste typical of aged ripe puer and a delicate jasmine note in the aroma.
The dry leaf carries notes of jasmine, moss, thuja wood, hazelnut, chocolate and dried apricot — a rich, deep bouquet.
The tea nuggets are convenient to brew: just break off the amount you need and pour hot water over it.
