Mo Li Long Zhu is a green tea hand-rolled into tight pearls and scented with jasmine.
Top tea buds absorb the scent of jasmine blossoms over several weeks. The flowers are then removed by hand, leaving only leaf carrying soft jasmine tones.
The result is a tea with a pronounced aroma and a smooth, balanced taste. The cup shows jasmine and violet, fresh hay, pine, basil and a light date sweetness.
Use water at 80–85 °C, 3–5 pearls per serving. The pearls unfurl slowly in hot water — a sight worth watching in a glass teapot.
