Xiaguan "Bao Yan" sheng (raw) puerh is a pressed tea shaped like a mushroom (tuo), made at the Xiaguan tea manufactory specifically for the domestic markets of Mongolia and Tibet.
This sheng is noticeably stronger and richer than typical sheng puerhs, with a darker infusion color — almost like a shou puerh. A great way to diversify a collection built on cakes and nests.
Taste: celery, fresh hay, fruit chips, tobacco, jam, prune, cherry, pear.
