Yangloudong Brick Tea 2021, 260 g

Legend says the first tea in China was grown in the town of Yangloudong. Later it was absorbed by neighbouring Chibi, but the tea kept its Yangloudong name. Brick tea was once drunk everywhere; today its main regions are Tibet, Siberia and Central Asia.

The infusion is bright orange, the taste tender and soft, and the aroma unmistakable, with notes of wildflowers, fresh hay, dry wood, tobacco, jam and pepper. In Tibet this tea is traditionally brewed with milk, butter and salt.
