Uda Pussellawa F.B.O.P. Ceylon Black Tea

Uda Pussellawa is a high mountain province of Sri Lanka, its gardens sitting at around 1800 metres. This F.B.O.P. black leaf comes from there, and its taste is remarkably gentle.

Flavour profile

• floral: jasmine, lavender
• woody: oak, cedar, damp earth
• sweet: honey, nutmeg
• fruity: fresh orange, plum, apricot

This tea asks for nothing added to it — it is fine on its own. Brew with water just off the boil and taste it without sugar to hear the whole bouquet.

Packing

Loose leaf in a kraft paper doypack with a clear window and a zip-lock. A 7 g sample is available, plus 25, 50, 100 and 200 g packs.
