Shu Pu-erh "Mandarin Cloak" is an ambitious dark pu-erh from Yunnan province, China, pressed into a cake. The tea is aromatic and its liquor takes on a bright mandarin-orange colour.
The flavour carries notes of bark, moss, wet earth, campfire smoke, hazelnut, caramel and a touch of pepper — a rich, many-layered cup that never gets boring.
