Shu Puer "Guntin", Imperial Collection, 2008

This puer is a visit to the imperial palace. The "Guntin" raw material contains a large amount of tea buds, giving the brew an incredible velvety texture.

After more than 17 years of aging, the tea has shed all its sharp notes, leaving only pure depth. As you open the package, you'll notice the aroma of old wood, fine tobacco, and a light sweetness of dried fruits.

The liquor is welcoming, almost opaque, the color of dark chocolate. The taste is a true symphony: soft, without watery bitterness, with clear notes of nuts, tree bark, and a sweet date aftertaste.

The bamboo baskets in which these cakes were stored gave it a special, "living" character. This is a tea for special moments, when you want to stop time and savor perfection.
