Shu puer "Menghai Denix Ban Zhang" 2019 is a tightly compressed tea with a meizhixiang (plum) aroma, from Menghai. The liquor is ruby-brown and velvety.
The flavor carries the sweetness of cherry jam, a note of dark chocolate and a pinch of nutmeg, followed by a light minty freshness of bitter apple seed.
The aroma is rich — bark, moss, damp earth, wood-fire smoke, hazelnut, caramel and pepper. Invigorating and energizing.
