Mountain Lavender is a flower tea of dried lavender blossoms, long valued in China and brewed as a drink in its own right. It is the queen of flower teas: bright, full-bodied, recognisable from the first breath.
The cup opens with notes of violet, fresh hay and honey. The infusion is soft, with a long floral finish.
Pour hot water over the blossoms, let them steep for a few minutes and drink on its own, or add a pinch to your favourite black or green tea — lavender works well as a natural aromatiser.
