A premium-grade black tea from northern Vietnam. The northern provinces give a denser, more aromatic leaf than the south — and that is where this Dragon Mandarin comes from.
The dry leaf smells of jasmine and orchid. The brew brings out cedar, bread and jam, while nutmeg, dried apricot, citrus peel and mango stay in the finish. An even cup with no harshness.
Take a spoon of loose leaf, pour hot water over it and keep the steep short — the tea holds several infusions in a row.
