About this product

Black tea from Mufindi, the first tea estate in Tanzania. Loose leaf with a rose-and-jasmine bouquet and notes of bark, tobacco, honey, chocolate, cinnamon, raisin, grapefruit, blackcurrant and plum. Pack sizes from 7 to 200 g.

Tea from Mufindi, the very first tea estate in Tanzania, planted by German colonists. It was named tanzanite after the local gemstone that is valued above diamonds.

Taste and aroma

The bouquet rests on rose and jasmine, moves on through bark and tobacco, honey and chocolate, cinnamon and raisin, and closes with grapefruit, blackcurrant and plum. A tea with a character of its own — dense yet very easy to drink.

How to brew

Pour hot water over the loose leaf for a short steep and repeat — the leaf is good for several infusions.

Pack sizes: 7, 25, 50, 100 and 200 g in a kraft doypack with a clear window and a zip-lock.
