About this product

Shu Puer Banzhang 2004 is an aged compressed cake made from old tea tree leaves of Mount Bulang near Laobanzhang village, with notes of dry wood, honey, and vanilla.

Shu Puer Banzhang is an aged compressed tea made from old tea tree leaves of the Bulang mountain range, grown near the legendary village of Laobanzhang.

The organic origin of the raw material is confirmed by special marks on the tea leaves themselves and on the wrapper. Hand-pressing in stone molds left a distinctive relief pattern on the back of the cake — a sign of traditional quality.

The taste and aroma reveal notes of dry wood, condensed milk, honey, vanilla, blackcurrant, and plum. The infusion is smooth, with no astringency. Harvest year 2004.
