Sichuan Peony Bud Flower Tea

Peony is China's national flower, a symbol of prosperity and vivid life. Dried mudan hua buds are traditionally added to tea as a separate ingredient — to shu puerh, white tea, or oolong.

They can also be brewed on their own: the buds unfurl in the cup, giving a slightly sweet taste with honey-bitter notes and a deep floral-fruity aroma.
