Darjeeling Muscatel Delight SFTGFOP1 Second Flush, Castleton

The Himalayas hold countless tea gardens, but the true leader in Darjeeling Muscatel is the Castleton Tea Estate. This is where the genuine muscatel summer black tea is made.

This is the second flush — the summer picking that historically became the symbol of muscatel flavour among all Darjeelings. The leaf for extra-class muscatels is picked on a single plot called “Allay” out of the estate’s 450 hectares, and it is processed by master D. B. Gurunga, who is responsible for the elite Muscatel teas.

The cup carries linden, wildflowers, fruit wood, almond, honey, chocolate, nutmeg, grapefruit, grape and apple. Leaf grade: SFTGFOP1.

Whole leaf, loose. Pack sizes from 7 g to 1 kg. Packaging: kraft paper doypack with a clear window and a zip-lock.
