Gunpowder tea (Yun Xi Hou Qing, or "Green Gunpowder from Yunxi") is a rich, bright green tea rolled into tight little pellets that resemble gunshot — hence the name.
The taste carries wildflowers, cucumber, fresh hay and freshly cut grass with an almond undertone. A simple, straightforward, genuinely tasty tea with a nice invigorating character.
Enjoy it any time of day.
