Japanese Matcha Green Tea Powder, 100 g + 5 g Bonus

Matcha is the unique style of green tea that Japan reshaped through centuries of tradition.

It is stone-ground green tea leaves called 'tencha': when prepared, the whole powder is consumed together with the infusion.

Matcha is considered the most intense green tea.

There are two ways to prepare it: light (usucha) and strong (koicha). For usucha use 2 g per 50-80 ml of water, for koicha use 4 g.

Hot water is added to the powder, then whisked with a special bamboo whisk (chasen).
