A Taiwanese pair is a set of two cups for tasting tea. Tea is poured into the lower, wider cup, and the narrower, taller cup is placed upside down on top of it.
You drink the tea from the lower cup, while the upper cup carries the aroma left behind after pouring. This ritual lets you fully unfold the tea's bouquet.
The set is made of YanZhiYu porcelain: the lower cup holds 55 ml, the upper one 25 ml.
