Sichabei Ru Yao Celadon Tea Tasting Cup, Ash Grey, 75 ml

The shape name, Sichabei, translates as "a bowl for reflection and zen." Its restrained design and the noble hue of the Ru series hint at a philosophical mood, helping you focus on every sip and feel a sense of calm while drinking tea.

About the glaze and firing

• Form philosophy: the cup's wide base is designed for deep aroma concentration, making brewed tea taste richer.
• Enamel with agate: the glaze is enriched with natural agate, creating a crystal-clear surface. The texture resembles jade — smooth, elegant, and simple.
• Ash Grey color: a deep tone that shifts with the light, from restrained to lavish, evoking a misty mountain morning.
• Firing technology: the piece undergoes a demanding water-firing process at 1350°C. Due to the low finished-product yield (only 17%), each cup carries high collectible value.
• Gold rim: a special gold-finishing technique along the edge gives the piece a noble look and adds to its value.
