Dehua 'Enlightenment' Porcelain Tea Bowl, 'Goose Down' Body, 40 ml

Here is a piece from legendary Dehua — the snow-white capital of Chinese porcelain. This tea bowl is made in the unique 'Goose Down' style, named for its incredible lightness, matte softness and flawless whiteness.

Features of the bowl

• 'Goose Down' material: a special type of thin-walled porcelain that feels like velvet or soft feather to the touch. It has a faint milky tone and translucency typical of the finest examples of 'Blanc de Chine.'
• 'Enlightenment' motif: the bowl features a minimalist silhouette of a monk meditating atop golden mountains — a symbol of inner calm, detachment from daily bustle, and the pursuit of truth over a cup of tea.
• Gold detailing: thin golden mountain lines highlight the nobility of the white porcelain and add an elegant shimmer to the bowl.
• 40 ml volume: an ideal size for 'quick' tasting sips, when you want to focus fully on the shades of flavor and aroma of a fine tea.
